Summary Description:
Vali, Inc. is seeking an IT Portfolio Analyst. This position will support a Defense Agency's Finance and Accounting Division in maintaining accounting records and account balances in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Contingent upon contract award.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform reconciliations of detailed financial transactions to financial statements.
- Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial certification of financial reports with DFAS and other DoD and others as necessary.
- Prepare various documents and briefings for review and use by senior DoD leaders.
- Assist with monthly compilation of trading partner information, and review and analysis of differences, working with DFAS and other DoD components to identify the root cause of the variances.
- Knowledgeable and capable of assisting in the preparation of: (PIA,DITIP, ACART, DBS, IBF-DAP, DITIP/SNaP-IT,DCIM, DITRP/SITR, ITPR, eMASS)
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in an Information Technology or financial-related discipline
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience related to IT Operations and Financial management.
- At least 2 years of experience in DoD IT Capital Investment and compliance activities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters' degree in an IT related discipline.
- Experience with DoD Financial Management Systems/Defense Acquisition Initiative (DAI) preferred.
