Summary Description:

Vali, Inc. is seeking an IT Financial Analyst. This position will support to the Directorates of Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) to provide high-quality mission and decision-making support on budgetary, financial, and civilian pay issues. Contingent upon contract award.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct analysis on financial and budgetary trends impacting the office.
  • Support efforts such as preparing and identifying integration and synergy opportunities across directorates to assist in developing and refining strategies, and providing input for the investment portfolio.
  • Assist in developing and monitoring metrics to track the effectiveness and progress of programs.
  • Monitor program execution to ensure alignment with DoD Comptroller Obligation and Expenditure benchmarks.
  • Prepare various documents and briefings for review and use by senior DoD leaders.
  • Assist in identifying efficiencies and process improvements to enhance mission and cost effectiveness.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA or BS) in a financial-related discipline
  • Minimum of 4+ years of financial management experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in DoD PPBE and financial management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of DoD IT Investment Portfolio (DTIP, DITPR, SNAP-IT, DCIM, IBF-DAP).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters' degree in a financial related discipline.
  • Experience with DoD Financial Management Systems/Defense Acquisition Initiative (DAI) preferred.
